We will exhibit paintings by three artists.
First, Ryuzaburo Umehara, a leading figure in Japanese Yōga painting.
Second, Kenkichi Sugimoto, who adored Umehara and had his atelier at Kannonin Temple in Todaiji.
Finally, Kokuta Suda, who was a close friend of Sugimoto’s and also painted works on the theme of Nara.
Please come and see the paintings of each of the three artists.
