Teishiro Gomi / Yoshihiro Ushijima
Appraising is the process of defining whether a work of art is authentic, or otherwise. Authenticity is crucial in defining the value of your artwork.
At Shihodo Gallery, we provide appraisal services for works by Teishiro Gomi, and Yoshihiro Ushijima.
Please refer to the process below if you wish to apply for an appraisal.

1. Inquire
Please apply for a reservation by phone or from the Appraisal inquiries form, below.
Teishiro Gomi
Application deadlines ：the 10th, each month
Appraisal date ：the 15th, each month
Yoshihiro Ushijima
Please inquire for available appraisal dates.
2. Bring in your work
Please bring in your work to Shihodo Gallery, Ginza, for appraisal.
In case you wish to send your work, please let us know in advance. Courier fees will be at the cost of the sender.
Once the work is received, we will issue a Certificate of Custody.
Framed works will be removed from their frames for appraisal. Please be aware that any tape etc. may require removing in the process.
3. Notification
We will notify you of the appraisal results by telephone.

Please let us know when you wish to pick up your work from Shihodo Gallery, Ginza. Bring your Certificate of Custody with you.
Please contact us in case you wish you work to be sent to you by courier. Courier fees will be at the cost of the recipient.
Please pay the according processing fees / certificate fees upon pickup.
A Certificate of Authenticity will be issued for works found to be authentic.

*The Certificate fee is required for works that are found to be authentic.
